- every older client can be connected to any new clients which supports regular connections (2nd box: "allow obfuscated connections only" not ticked)
- any new client with none of the 3 checkboxes ticked can accept both obfuscated and regular connections (but they will not try to establish an obfuscated connection if the other client does not need it)
- new clients with the 1st checkbox ticked (enable protocol obfuscation) will first try to establish an obfuscated connection but can still use a regular one if this fails
- new clients with the 2nd box ticked (allow obfuscated connections only) can only connect to obfuscated enabled clients (new clients with the 3rd box (disable support...) not ticked)
- new clients with the 3rd box ticked (disable support...) can only connect to old clients, or to new clients with the 2nd box (obfuscated only) not ticke
