https://www.btod.com/blog/2017/01/29/6-common-problems-with-mesh-office-chairs/
Costas = mesh

Mirra is better for YOU.
I've heard alot of stories that i can confirm now; that the seatpan on the Mirra is great at cutting off circulation and is in general nowhere near as comfortable as a standard high density foam seatpan. In short mesh is for backs only, NOT seatpans. It's a real shame too, because everything else on the Mirra is great , especially the recline.

This is the most uncomfortable chair I've ever sat in
***********
I do not know why this chair is getting such good reviews because this is the worst chair I've ever sat in. Our company, a major bank, purchased new chairs for everyone in the building and did not bother to tell us we were getting new chairs. The old ones were very comfortable. One day they were just gone and replaced with these awful Herman Miller chairs. They even took the backrest that I had attached to my original chair away with it. However that is irrelevant to this review. The reasons why this chair is so uncomfortable is because of multiple problems.
There is no padding for the seating area. When you sit on this chair the seat is not flat, you sort of sink in a little bit (kinda reminds me of those awful foldable chairs with no support you would buy for camping) which makes it very painful for my hips. I brought in a pillow from home to put on the chair and it seems to help a TINY bit but not enough to make my hips not hurt. I cannot adjust the seat depth to go from front to back, I can only make the very front edge roll (or more aptly put - curl) downwards towards the floor, this does not increase comfort as it digs into my calves. The only chairs my company did not replace are in the conference rooms so I had to steal the chair from that location and swap it with the new Herman Miller one at my desk.
It is still not as comfortable as my old chair but it's better than this Herman Miller chair. ANY chair would be more comfortable that this Herman Miller chair. No one I know in my company likes these chairs. I do not recommend this chair for anyone, especially somebody who has just had surgery or has orthopedic problems. I can't believe my company spent major $$$ for these non ergonomic chairs - what a waste of money.

This chair is really badly designed for some people I would think. The main issue I have with the chair is that the seat does not go far enough back against the backrest. There is no seat depth adjustment, and when I sit far enough back so that my back comfortable hits the backrest and the posture-fit at the bottom of the backrest, my tailbone sits on the HARD plastic rim/edge of the seat. I mean... just look at your Mirra 2... see that HUGE gap between the seat and the backrest...? Why...? Why is there this huge gap...? Because it freaking looks good? I have an Aeron here beside me and I also notice that my tail bone almost hits the same HARD plastic rim/edge of the seat. But unlilke the Mirra 2, the Aeron doesn't have that huge gap there...
Also, there is the HARD plastic on the edge of the seat at the front which digs into your legs unless you keep your legs closed all day. The original Mirra did not have these issues at all. The original Mirra had foam up front and the backrest was closer to the seat by a good amount. Also, the Mirra 2's backrest does not flex as much as the original Mirra and feels quite stiffer in comparison. This is probably due to the useless plastic loop the designers decided to add to the Mirra 2. Go watch the Youtube video, those people are designers, people who appear to love how pretty they can make things look. I'm looking for function. How someone people have the jobs that they have is beyond me...

A Aeron é boa? Sim. Excepcional.
