" Pros: Worked really well.......................for a while!
Cons: Can't understand why it would just all up and die on me!! Corsair was highly rated as far as the power supplies go!! I guess I just got the misfortune of getting a bad one!!"
-----------------------------------------------------------------
" Pros: While it worked it was ok until.................
Cons: Died on my in less than a year!! Started having issues recently and one day went to go turn on my PC and NOTHING!! Did some process of elimination and found out it was indeed the power supply! I would of thought a Corsair product would have at least lasted my a year!!"
-------------------------------------------------------------
" Pros: It's cheap...
Cons: it's cheap.... I purchased 4 of these 8 months ago and 3 out of the 4 just died within 2 weeks of each other..."
------------------------------------------------------------
" Pros: None.
Cons: I had two of these in total. The first PSU had a dead rail, the second PSU was completely DOA. Returned them both for refund. Also, didn't fix properly in case PSU mounting bracket proerly, required some mild bending."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
"
Pros: good amount of connections
Cons: Very light compared to my other power supplys. Plugged it in installed windows worked fine added a 4870 and it cooked itself. Plz dont waste your money on this."
----------------------------------------------------------------
" Pros: Worked well while it did. Cables had ample length, plenty of connectors, etc...
Cons: Died on the third day of use, thus the 3 egg rating. Maybe I just got a bad one, I don't know."
--------------------------------------------------------------------
" Pros: The Powersupply was capable of posting my hardware when I was initially assembling and checking connections...
Oh, and it has long srink-wrapped cables
Cons: Okay, here goes:
1) Not modular, but I knew that to start with
2) Low efficiency
3) Conviently forget to mention that only 2 of the +12v Rails are in the 4 PCI-e connections, so if you run GTX 280's or GTX295's (as i do) in sli, then your out of luck because those draw between 65 and 72 amps at full load, and guess what? 40 amps are stuck in the +5v rails, and using two adapters to power the cards from the +5v rails gives the right amperage, but will still underpower them. So in other words, this power supply is not SLI-Ready unless your running a GTX 260 or lower, in which case, why are you running SLI?
4) Insruction manual is useless, and Seveteam Support is non-existant on this side of the world. I called 5 times over 3 days at different times (guessing that maybe their tech support is in Asia since it's a Japanese Brand) and didn't get a single answer."
etc.
