You gotta know the band to understand the videos I guess everybody. What many don't know, is Michael has a tendency to make videos that have nothing relating to the story line itself of the song. This is a huge indication that this video is a tribute to his father/son connection/bond he had with his own father being a boxer and Michael growing up in those footsteps. He's said himself that the first thing he does every morning is check in on the boxing statuses. He's a huge fan of the sport. A lot of his songs lately have came purely from the heart from losing his Father. I personally think they're beautiful tributes, having lost both my parents....I feel every word too.​
