A 2K Sports, responsável pela franquia dos games oficiais da NBA, anunciou que o novo título 2k13 será lançado dia 2 de outubro desse ano na America do Norte com versões para Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PSP, PC, Wii e também para o novo Wii U.
Para os mais apressadinhos a pré-venda game já está disponível para compra no site da Amazon custando US$59,99, tanto a versão para Xbox 360 quanto a para Playstation 3. Aqueles que adquirirem o game na pré-venda, levarão também o DLC “NBA All-Stars” da Sprite. A versão anterior NBA 2k12, vendeu mais de 5 milhões de unidades ao redor do globo, sendo considerado um dos melhores jogos da história do gênero.
O game foi desenvolvido pela Visual Concepts, um estúdio que pertence a 2K Sports. Assim como em algumas versões anteriores, os jogadores terão a oportunidade de realizar confrontos entre as estrelas atuais da NBA contra os lendários jogadores do passado em diversos modos de jogo. NBA 2k13 promete trazer novamente toda a emoção do esporte para os consoles, tanto no modo multiplayer quento no singleplayer. NBA2K13 Anunciado (23/05/2012)
Following their fiscal financial report and the (reported) demise of Major League Baseball 2K, we’re left wondering if there will still be a game that lets us deliver thunderous dunks in a virtual NBA world? The answer is a resounding yes.
2K Sports confirmed today that NBA 2K13 is in the works, and the latest basketball sim will be hitting stores on October 2nd for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii and PC.
No details for gameplay have been yet revealed, but we expect a bunch of refinements to the game’s franchise mode, as well as online features and the kind of gameplay that makes us happy to drive up and down the court.
Meanwhile… how about them Spurs?

After hearing rumors that the mighty basketball series would be making a comeback, 2K Sports confirmed that NBA 2K13 is, in fact, ready to rock the rim in time for the upcoming 2012-2013 NBA season. Visual Concepts is once again handling development duties, and the game will release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, PlayStation Portable and Wii on October 2nd. A Wii U version is also in the works, and should release around the same time as that system.
In addition, those who pre-order the game will receive free of charge a special pack of downloadable All Star Content, presented by Sprite. This pack will include the 2013 Houston venue for the All Star Game along with the Foot Locker Three Point Shootout, the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge, and the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest – all with pick up and play controls.
“The NBA All Star package is our way of saying ‘Thank you’ to fans for their ongoing love of the NBA 2K series,” said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports. “This content provides a ton of depth and value to our fans, and it’s just the beginning of a lot of big news about NBA 2K13.”

Nintendo has released a list of all the Wii U titles announced at this week’s E3.
Most of the games listed were mentioned in yesterday’s Nintendo conference but there are a few titles in the Wii U eShop not yet seen.
Nintendo, arguably the king of first-party IP, boasts the title of publisher on more titles than any other company. Its own titles include Pikmin 3, Game & Wario and Nintendo Land plus third-party titles such as Ninja Gaiden 3 and Lego City: Undercover.
Ubisoft takes a second place as Wii U supporter, with Assassin’s Creed 3, ZombiU and Rayman Legends in their schedule.
The Wii U download titles kicking up the most fuss are Chasing Aurora and a director’s cut of Trine 2. Gaijin Games’ Runner 2 has been officially announced too, after a shedload of rumor earlier this year.
The listed games have been awarded a “holiday 2012” release.

NBA2K13 Recebe Prêmio de Melhor Jogo de Esporte da E3 (08/06/2012)
This was a tough one, mainly because the franchises haven’t shown off all their tricks for their next offerings yet. EA is trying to change up the Madden line with a new engine and a story-based career mode, and FIFA 13 looks amazing and will benefit from the Kinect inclusion, but after seeing all three games, the title we all kept coming back to was NBA 2K13. We don’t even know what the new mode will be this year, but the last two iterations were close to perfection, and this one already has a few new things to look forward to including vastly improved facial graphics, and an all-star mode that is an exclusive bonus that only those that pre-order it will receive. It isn’t a cash grab as much as a thank you to fans. Even without it, the game looks every bit as good as last years’, but with better graphics and smoother animations. Making a near perfect game better is just ridiculous.

Yet before this even occurs, there is someone behind the scenes who physically pulls the ropes down to reveal the center stage. Now, my friends, you are the “metaphorical” curtain droppers for the NBA 2K13 cover athlete reveal.

2K Sports today announced that the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant, Los Angeles Clippers’ Blake Griffin and the Chicago Bulls’ Derrick Rose have been crowned the cover athletes for NBA® 2K13, the next installment of the top-selling and top-rated NBA video game simulation franchise*.
”Being crowned as one of the NBA 2K13 cover athletes is a huge honor and something I always dreamt about,” said Durant, who won his third straight scoring title and led the Thunder franchise to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1996. “It’s definitely humbling to grace the cover after the likes of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird.”
“There’s so much young talent around the NBA, so it’s very exciting to be chosen for NBA 2K’s ‘New Dynasty’ alongside Kevin and Derrick,” added Griffin, who helped lead the Clippers to their first postseason since 2006. “The NBA 2K series has always been my first choice when I want to get a game in.”

New to MyCAREER- Ronnie2K's MyPLAYER was drafted to the Phoenix Suns in NBA 2K13's MyCAREER mode. He was disappointed that he wasn’t drafted #1 overall which is possible for the first time ever in NBA 2K13. Though, his choice in suits makes it obvious that no one has better style than him!

My Player
- Normalmente, o My Player era o nome do modo onde se simulava a carreira de um jogador. No NBA 2K13, My Player é apenas a criação do seu jogador.
- Em qualquer modo de jogo que você participar no NBA 2K13, ganhará “grana virtual” para comprar novos tênis, habilidades especiais, rotinas pré-jogo, entre outras coisas para seu My Player.
- Esse ano, seu My Player poderá escolher roupa e acessórios para entrevistas coletivas e para chegar ao jogo. A loja do game terá roupas reais e a Visual Concept planeja adicionar cada vez mais roupas e acessórios. Algumas das roupas e acessórios apresentam mudanças cosméticas apenas, mas outros, melhoras dão bônus aos seus atributos. A ideia é personalizar seu My Player o suficiente, lembrando estilos singulares como o de Russell Westbrook ou Dwyane Wade.
My Career
- My Career é o novo nome do modo onde seu My Player joga.
- O game terá um Twitter interno (sem interação com o Twitter verdadeiro, assim, você não incomoda os amigos e seguidores no “mundo real”). Seu My Player receberá novos seguidores conforme sua carreira progredir. Os seguidores lhe darão parabéns por um bom jogo e tirarão onda de um ruim. Quando mais famoso, jogadores de outro time podem falar de você antes de jogos, celebridades podem mencionar seu nome e lendas da NBA poderão oferecer dicas.
- Sua atitude nas coletivas pós-jogo terão efeito nos comentários durante partidas. Se você for egoísta ou deixar uma bronca com outro jogador de lado, Kevin Harlan, Clark Kellog e Steve Kerr vão comentar sobre seu comportamento.
- No NBA 2K12, o AI (sigla para inteligência artificial em inglês) nunca entendeu que tipo de jogador você era, se gostava de cortar para cesta ou ir para o pivô ou receber a bola parado para arremessar. O NBA 2K13 promete reconhecer suas tendências de maneira mais eficiente. Se você usar muitas jogadas de pivô, seu time vai usar seu My Player mais em situações desse tipo. Se você preferir ficar no perímetro e ter sucesso dos 3 pontos, seus colegas de equipe vão lhe procurar quando estiver livre para um arremesso de longa distância.
- Seu My Player poderá ser convidado para uma conversa com o GM de seu time. Assim que você receber o status de superstar poderá influenciar a direção da franquia, pedir demissão de treinador, dar dicas durante o período de contratação de Free Agents ou sua posição no time. Se você chegar ao status de LeBron James, poderá forçar uma troca .
- O time não mais trocará seus melhores companheiros de equipe quando seu My Player chegar ao time titular.
- O treinador lhe dirá o que você faz certo e errado. Se o treinador reclamar de um arremesso fora de hora e você repetir o arremesso, diga alô ao banco de reservas.
- Durante sua carreira, você terá oportunidade de vários patrocínios. Se começar com a Jordan Brand, poderá mudar, eventualmente, para a Nike. Atingindo um nível de fama, você será convidado a criar seu par de tênis. A lenda do design de tênis Tinker Hatfield dará dicas enquanto você tira vantagem da Nike Innovation Kitchen. Depois de pronto, quem tem acesso ao Nike ID poderá, até, comprar o tênis que inventou.
Association Mode
- O NBA 2K13 permitirá que você entre na temporada na data correta – se você comprar o game no Natal, poderá começar sua temporada no dia 25 de Dezembro, por exemplo – com as estatísticas, retrospectos, habilidades, lesões atualizadas.
- Esse ano, você poderá indicar como quer que seu time jogue. Mandando lutar mais por rebotes, por exemplo.
- Com as novas regras do CBA (Acordo de Negociações Coletivas) uma nova lógica de trocas e contratações foi construída.
- Pela primeira vez, as ligas online poderão ter sliders customizados.

An all-new trailer for NBA 2K13 featuring the 1992 'Dream Team' matched up against the 2012 USA Basketball Men's National Team. The footage features matchups between Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, as well as highlights from other past and present stars including Scottie Pippen, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, and Carmelo Anthony.
The video highlights the opportunity the settle the debate over which USAB would come out on top, fully realized in this year's game.
