"Now we have a few details more. Geforce 7950GT will be cheap as cheap, at $299 and it is scheduled for the middle of September. It is clocked at 550MHz core, has a single core and single PCB, a 7900 GT-like cooler and 700MHz memory. We guess Nvidia claims 1400MHz memory in DDR 3 mode.
The card supports HDCP, has dual-DVI link, twenty-four pipelines and 512MB of memory. It will launch on the 14th of September and it scores 4687 in 3Dmark06, some 180 more than ATI's RV570, at least according to Nvidia's own slides.
We also saw a G71-based 7900 GS listed for launch on 30th August, but still few details about it have emerged.
You can check it all on Nvidia's own slides at least if Nvidia doesn't take them down. It's all here.
The only trouble for Nvidia is that ATI's RV570 will end up much cheaper than Nvidia expects.
I guess this also helps explan why ATI was so keen to keep to its August launch date. µ"
550/700mhz e 512MB por 300$ ...sounds good. è a resposta da Nvidia a queda de preços da ATI
Viva a guerra das duas gigantes ...sobra mais VGA pra nós
