"Flicker-Free no
PWM Dimming Frequency 960Hz
The Samsung 43QN90B uses pulse width modulation to dim its backlight at all brightness settings in Game Mode with the input label set to 'PC'. It always flickers at 960Hz with VRR enabled (pictured above), which is high enough that you won't notice it, and without VRR, it flickers at the same rate as the refresh rate, as you can see
here. The flicker changes with other picture modes, which you can read more about in the
TV review."
The Samsung 43 QN90B QLED is a 43-inch TV that's popular to use as a PC gaming monitor. Unlike past years, Samsung has started to include gaming features on the ...

"I am running the latest firmware. 1420. I have my set running at 144hertz and it passes your chroma 444 test. Do you guys still think it doesn’t display proper chroma (blurry text) at 144hertz? Cause I am running my win 11 desktop at 144hertz and like I said, it passes your chroma 444 test with no blurry text. I do not see any difference between 120hertz and 144hertrz for blurriness in the text. Why is text blurry at 144hertz when hdmi 2.1 can do 3840 x 2160 10-bit 144 39.19 Gbps?"

While we didn’t test it with that firmware, we did notice there were issues with 4k 144Hz 4:4:4 with the text at the top of the screen, and not so much at the bottom, meaning not all text looks off. We also use cameras and magnifying glasses to carefully inspect the chroma test pattern, so while the text may look fine on the surface, there might be some issues when you look closely. That being said, if you feel like you’re satisfied with the text when displaying a 4k 144Hz signal, you should definitely keep it like that."
Aparentemente no firmware 1420 eles resolveram o VRR no game mode no AMD segundo o rtings
"Updated Dec 23, 2022: We retested the
variable refresh rate feature at 120Hz with firmware update 1420. It now works properly with AMD graphics cards and consoles, but it's still not working with NVIDIA GPUs."
"Unfortunately, when connected to a PC with an NVIDIA graphics card, VRR doesn't work if you have the refresh rate set to 120Hz. There's no tearing at all from a PC, suggesting that it's using V-SYNC instead of VRR, and the connection at 120Hz is very unstable. These issues don't occur when the refresh rate is set to 100Hz or 144Hz, or when connected to a console running at 120Hz. With the version 1420 firmware update it now works properly with AMD PCs, but not with NVIDIA graphics cards."
