Se não me engano LPX 2400/2666 pode ser single ou dual dependendo do chip/lote de fabricação. Módulo que uso é LPX 2400MHZ chip micron dual, porém existe single rank. Por isso na lista de memória suportada do fabricante não aparece SS ou DS.
O recomendado é single rank porque sobe mais no OC, mas dual rank é um pouco mais rápido de acordo com o teste da AMD, veja lá:
