Forza Horizon 4 | Series 15 Update
There’s no lack of choice for Forza Horizon 4 players with the Series 15 update. Launching this week, the update is bringing with it some amazing new cars, including the Forza debut of a highly anticipated supercar from Bugatti. Series 15 also includes a new Horizon Business, a new Showcase Remix, fixes and improvements throughout the game, and more. What can you expect from Series 15? Read on and find out!
New Business – Upgrade Heroes
Now you can live out your performance upgrade dreams with the new Upgrade Heroes business! Situated in the shadow of Glen Rannoch, players will join Alex as he hunts for the ultimate sleeper cars and turns them into maxed-out Upgrade Heroes. Unlock ten Upgrade Heroes vehicles for your collection, ranging from the Datsun 510 to the 1.5-million-credit Koenigsegg Agera RS.
Remixes – Motorcross Purposes & Assault on the Control Room
We’ve got two Showcase Remix events for you in Series 15; one classic and one new. “Motorcross Purposes” lets players race the rough-and-ready Aerial Nomad against the MotoX bikes in this new Summer Showcase Remix. This update also sees the return of the “Assault on the Control Room” Remix event. Don’t miss this opportunity to re-run the UNSC Fleetcom training exercise in winter, as it counts towards your Star Card progress as a Racing Superstar.
Auction House Search
Playground Games has made a few improvements to the Auction House experience. First up, the search fields will no longer reset after performing a search in the Auction House. Also, the team has introduced an improved system for selecting car manufacturers when searching in the Auction House.
Series 15 Cars
Koenigsegg’s lost attempt at fielding a GT race car, a boutique supercar last seen in Forza Motorsport 4, a gritty BMW M3, and the latest unveiling from the luxury hypercar masters at Bugatti. Series 15 is bringing with it four amazing cars to Forza Horizon 4 starting this week. Here’s a look:
2019 Bugatti Divo
It doesn’t matter if you can afford the $5.8-million price tag, all 40 of the Bugatti Divo’s were sold well before they were finished. Whereas the Chiron or Veyron were best known for their amazing top speeds, the Divo is much more an enthusiast’s car. That’s not to say its 236-mph top speed is any left lane blocker, but it does suggest improved handling, braking, and agility. The styling, while unrelentingly Bugatti, is distinctive; notably more ducting to increase cooling and downforce and a rear wing that is more prominent. All together the Divo (named after Albert Divo, a winning Bugatti driver from the 1920s) enables its super-rich owners to add tales of canyon carving to the company’s long list of pleasures its creations provide.
2008 Koenigsegg CCGT
The CCGT is a specially modified Le Mans racing model of the CCX configured to ACO/FIA GT-1 regulations. The changes included de-fanging this supercar by removing the twin-Rotrex superchargers, altering the tuning strategy, and upping displacement from 4.7 liters to 5.0 liters. This lowers output from 806 horsepower to 610, which is further restricted to 600 for competition use by way of restrictor plates. Unlike past models, the CCX and CCGT engines are not reworked Ford V8s, rather they are built from the ground-up at Koenigsegg’s Angelholm assembly plant. The CCGT features a cutting-edge carbon fiber monocoque chassis and carbon fiber body panels. Consequently, unlike most race car conversions, Koenigsegg had to add weight to its vehicle because it comes in at around 300 lbs. lighter than minimum restrictions. Light and nimble, the CCGT delivers an engaging, edge-of-your-seat drive.
2010 Rossion Q1
Longtime builder of low-production, high-performance cars, 1G Racing has advanced to the next level by licensing the incredible Noble M12, originally a hand built British supercar. The result was launched with a new company name and a heavily revised product: the Rossion Q1. The powerplant is still a 3-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 from the Ford parts bin, but extensively improved to make an exotic 450 horsepower. Sixty miles per hour flashes by in 3.2 seconds from a dead stop, and the Q1 reaches 100 mph in just 7.8 seconds. Not that the Q1 is only good in a straight line, as the suspension has been completely reworked to provide greater grip. It will run through a slalom cone course in less time than a Ferrari Enzo, to boot.
2010 BMW M3 GTS
The ultimate factory M3 comes with more in all the right departments and less wherever it made sense for a street-legal track car. Lightened everywhere conceivable and damping adjustable from the suspension to the rear wing, the M3 GTS is a versatile weapon on the track or the open road. The sweetness starts under the bonnet, with a 4.4-liter V8 so good it won the “Engine of the Year” in 2010. Couple that rumble and roar with its precise handling characteristics and you have got a memorable E92 model that we can all happily welcome back home to the roads of Forza Horizon.
Cross-Platform Fixes
In addition to the new features and cars, the Series 15 update includes some cross-platform fixes for a handful of cars, daily challenges, and more. For those details, check out the
