Launching this week, the update is bringing with it some amazing new cars, including the Forza debut of a highly anticipated supercar from Bugatti. New Business – Upgrade Heroes
Now you can live out your performance upgrade dreams with the new Upgrade Heroes business! Situated in the shadow of Glen Rannoch, players will join Alex as he hunts for the ultimate sleeper cars and turns them into maxed-out Upgrade Heroes. Unlock ten Upgrade Heroes vehicles for your collection, ranging from the Datsun 510 to the 1.5-million-credit Koenigsegg Agera RS.

Remixes – Motorcross Purposes & Assault on the Control Room
We’ve got two Showcase Remix events for you in Series 15; one classic and one new. “Motorcross Purposes” lets players race the rough-and-ready Aerial Nomad against the MotoX bikes in this new Summer Showcase Remix. This update also sees the return of the “Assault on the Control Room” Remix event. Don’t miss this opportunity to re-run the UNSC Fleetcom training exercise in winter, as it counts towards your Star Card progress as a Racing Superstar.

Auction House Search
Playground Games has made a few improvements to the Auction House experience. First up, the search fields will no longer reset after performing a search in the Auction House. Also, the team has introduced an improved system for selecting car manufacturers when searching in the Auction House.

Series 15 Cars
Koenigsegg’s lost attempt at fielding a GT race car, a boutique supercar last seen in Forza Motorsport 4, a gritty BMW M3, and the latest unveiling from the luxury hypercar masters at Bugatti. Series 15 is bringing with it four amazing cars to Forza Horizon 4 starting this week. Here’s a look:

2019 Bugatti Divo
It doesn’t matter if you can afford the $5.8-million price tag, all 40 of the Bugatti Divo’s were sold well before they were finished. Whereas the Chiron or Veyron were best known for their amazing top speeds, the Divo is much more an enthusiast’s car. That’s not to say its 236-mph top speed is any left lane blocker, but it does suggest improved handling, braking, and agility. The styling, while unrelentingly Bugatti, is distinctive; notably more ducting to increase cooling and downforce and a rear wing that is more prominent. All together the Divo (named after Albert Divo, a winning Bugatti driver from the 1920s) enables its super-rich owners to add tales of canyon carving to the company’s long list of pleasures its creations provide.

2008 Koenigsegg CCGT
The CCGT is a specially modified Le Mans racing model of the CCX configured to ACO/FIA GT-1 regulations. The changes included de-fanging this supercar by removing the twin-Rotrex superchargers, altering the tuning strategy, and upping displacement from 4.7 liters to 5.0 liters. This lowers output from 806 horsepower to 610, which is further restricted to 600 for competition use by way of restrictor plates. Unlike past models, the CCX and CCGT engines are not reworked Ford V8s, rather they are built from the ground-up at Koenigsegg’s Angelholm assembly plant. The CCGT features a cutting-edge carbon fiber monocoque chassis and carbon fiber body panels. Consequently, unlike most race car conversions, Koenigsegg had to add weight to its vehicle because it comes in at around 300 lbs. lighter than minimum restrictions. Light and nimble, the CCGT delivers an engaging, edge-of-your-seat drive.

2010 Rossion Q1
Longtime builder of low-production, high-performance cars, 1G Racing has advanced to the next level by licensing the incredible Noble M12, originally a hand built British supercar. The result was launched with a new company name and a heavily revised product: the Rossion Q1. The powerplant is still a 3-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 from the Ford parts bin, but extensively improved to make an exotic 450 horsepower. Sixty miles per hour flashes by in 3.2 seconds from a dead stop, and the Q1 reaches 100 mph in just 7.8 seconds. Not that the Q1 is only good in a straight line, as the suspension has been completely reworked to provide greater grip. It will run through a slalom cone course in less time than a Ferrari Enzo, to boot.

2010 BMW M3 GTS
The ultimate factory M3 comes with more in all the right departments and less wherever it made sense for a street-legal track car. Lightened everywhere conceivable and damping adjustable from the suspension to the rear wing, the M3 GTS is a versatile weapon on the track or the open road. The sweetness starts under the bonnet, with a 4.4-liter V8 so good it won the “Engine of the Year” in 2010. Couple that rumble and roar with its precise handling characteristics and you have got a memorable E92 model that we can all happily welcome back home to the roads of Forza Horizon.

Forza Horizon 4 | Series 16 Update

The Series 16 update for Forza Horizon 4 arrives on November 20th and stars the latest supercar from Ferrari. The 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista is Ferrari’s latest low-production, high-performance masterpiece in the real world and it’s coming to the world of Horizon 4 with the latest update. In addition, Playground Games is introducing a new Showcase Remix, Auction House Improvements, and more.

2019 Ferrari 488 Pista

A Forza first! The latest track specialist supercar from Ferrari. With each new model of their mid-engine supercars, Ferrari has brought a low-production, even higher-performance model to the proverbial table. They came with names like Challenge Stradale, Scuderia, Speciale, and now, the Pista (that’s Italian for “track”). As with previous track specialists, they have wrung out additional horsepower, and lost weight. The Pista lost 40 pounds alone just in engine weight, while gaining 49 horsepower. Throughout you will find improvements to airflow and downforce. It’s the ultimate 488, and it’s raised the bar of what to expect from Ferrari… again.

1970 Ferrari 512 S

When the 512 S hit the track in 1970, it scooped up the first win of the season at Sebring. From there on, despite the thunderous torque of its 5-liter V12 and its sumptuous lines, it was relegated to finishing positions behind the Porsche 917. Rule changes and reducing engine capacity to three liters gave birth to the 312PB and a return to racing glory for the Scuderia. Given its elegant beauty and limited production, the 512 will live forever in the memories of the Tifosi. One drive will show you why.

2018 ATS GT

In 1961, eight technicians and engineers were fired by Enzo Ferrari. They went on to build their own race team and production cars under the name Automobili Turismo e Sport. While the Formula 1 team failed, they did develop one of the first mid-engine road cars. There were 12 and they were called the 2500 GT. The new ATS GT was designed to re-envision that original groundbreaking design. At the heart of the new ATS GT is a McLaren 650S. What sets it apart is the unique styling details such as the opaque engine cover and a token shape in the rear pillar that presents the aerodynamic profile of the original 2500 GT.

1999 Lamborghini Diablo GTR

A rare Lamborghini with all the racing goodies is ready to add to your Forza garage. Constructed to race in Lamborghini’s Diablo Supertrofeo one-make series, the GTR starts with a standard 6-liter GT car. The modifications mainly center around chassis, suspension, and better cooling and braking systems, but the engine does get a revised exhaust system that boosts output to 590 horsepower. Despite the intimidating nature of the GTR, it’s easy to control at the limit and very, very fast. Don’t expect to see one at your local track day, however, as only 40 models were built.

Forza Horizon 4 | Series 17 Update

627f910a-d137-4eac-81f7-32460031a615.jpg

The Series 17 update for Forza Horizon 4 arrived on December 12th. With it came the long-awaited return of Toyota and the 1997 Toyota Supra RZ for starters. That wasn’t all though. A garage full of Renault favorites hits the game as reward cars as well as the much-missed muscle of the 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator. The Eliminator is also the name of the latest game mode to come to Forza Horizon 4. It’s an amazing battle royale of racing that must be experienced to believe. If that’s not enough there are also a couple showcase remixes that are worth a run.

The Eliminator

“The Eliminator” is an all-new game mode free to all players that brings battle royale to Forza Horizon 4. Up to 72 players face off in the open world of Britain within a set arena boundary, eliminating one another in head-to-head races to earn new upgrades and a chance to pick up rare Car Drops. Arena walls contract throughout the game, forcing players closer together until a final white-knuckle race among the survivors determines the winner.

1998 Toyota Supra RZ

The Toyota Supra always towed a fine line between Japanese luxury and performance. It ticked all the boxes that JDM fans could list and it found fame and fortune on the big screen. At the heart of this beautiful, easily able to turn beast, is the JDM lover’s heartthrob, the 2JZ-GTE. It’s a motor that by itself is the stuff of legend and with a little massaging can readily generate tons of sonorous horsepower. What we have here is the top of the line model from the last year of production (in the U.S.). The fourth generation of the Supra was unmatched in appeal and resale values have soared. In an age where RWD luxury sport coupes from Japan are a dying breed, the Supra RZ lives on to stand tall against anything that dares to step to its considerable gait.

1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator

The 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator is a big bruiser of a cat from the height of the muscle car craze, building off of the successful pony car formula of the Cougar’s little brother, the Mustang. The functional ram-air intake on the hood barely hides a massive, NASCAR-inspired 428 Super Cobra Jet engine. Like many muscle cars of the era, the Eliminator’s engine was seriously underrated by Mercury, and the 428 big-block was good for more than 400 horsepower right out of the box. Nearly too much for the street, it is hard to miss the Eliminator's bold spoiler, blacked-out grille and headlight covers, and eye-searing color combinations like Competition Orange and Lime Green. The Eliminator was the vision of Larry Shinoda, whose work had previously inspired the ’63 Corvette Stingray and who was the father of the Boss 302 Mustang. The Eliminator is a real threat at stoplights or on the track, so when an Eliminator looms in your rear-view mirror, you’d best get out of the way.

2017 Alpine A110

It’s pronounced “Al-peen,” and named for the type of driving Alpine founder Jean Rédélé designed his cars to be adept at. It’s been 24 years since the last Alpine A610 rolled off the assembly line. The new A110 was designed from the ground up with a primary goal in mind: Lightness. Throughout the A110, from its all-aluminum body and all-aluminum chassis to the integrated components, it delivers weight savings, agility, and efficiency. Less than 2,500 pounds, with a rear/mid-engine places the Alpine squarely facing tough competitors like the Porsche Cayman or Audi TT. Hit the mountain roads and find out if Colin Chapman is still right in saying “Simplify, then add lightness.” Alpine is banking he was.

2007 Renault Clio RS 197

While it’s a bit of a stretch to directly compare a screaming F1 car with a hot hatch like the little Clio, Renault tries hard to inject a bit of the excitement of their F1 program into the RS 197. Take the rear blown diffuser—it’s unlikely that the Clio will need its downforce, but it definitely looks exciting. The RS 197 has several aero tweaks like this, and suffice it to say that their main impact is visual—they do look great. While actual on-track performance can’t quite compare to an open-wheeler, the near 200-horsepower naturally aspirated 2-liter engine under the hood is responsive and downright fun in such a small car. It may sound clichéd, but the Clio’s performance can only be compared to a go-kart, with sharp and nimble handling and few bad habits. Chuck the RS 197 hard into a corner and instead of drama, the Renault hunkers down and powers through. Renault’s many years of experience hotting-up Clios, from the legendary Clio Williams to the various RS models that followed, show through in this ultimate version of the third-generation car.

2008 Renault Megane R26.R

There are a couple ways to tell that a car model is built for the track. One is when you can order it with an optional roll cage. Second, but no less important and even more impressive, is when the car has recorded the fastest lap in its class around the infamous Nürburgring. The Megane R26.R can claim both. At eight minutes, seventeen seconds it was the fastest front-wheel production car in 2008. There were only 450 models built as the extreme version of the popular Megane, turning the already quick Renault Sport 230 F1 Team R26 into true compact track weaponry.

2016 Renault Clio R.S. 16 Concept

Is it stripped down due to the lack of air-conditioning and a back seat, or is it loaded since it’s packed with performance from the Renault parts bin? Disregarding the semantics and getting straight to the spec sheet delivers a clearer judgement. Renault has taken the 271-horsepower turbo four-cylinder from the Megane RS 275 Trophy-R model, along with key suspension and braking components and then stuffed them into the small package of the Clio. With the appropriate flare of the Clio Cup rear diffuser, a stout aero kit and actual flares to contain the massive 19-inch wheels this Concept has properly celebrates the 40th anniversary of the much-loved RS model.

2018 Renault Megane R.S

If you are lucky enough to be familiar with the Megane RS line of hot hatches you know they just keep getting better. Among its brethren, they have been known for plenty of front-wheel-drive powered fun, and the chassis and suspension stability to put that power to good use. Among the competition, many Europeans (Renault cars are not sold in the U.S.) would argue the Megane R.S. is the best when compared to cars like the Honda Civic Type-R or Ford Focus RS. Whether you agree or not, it’s undoubtedly in the same class as these heraldic hot hatches. That alone should make it worth a drive.

In 1992, AM General released the first commercially available civilian version of their versatile military all-terrain Humvee. In 2006, the H1 underwent a major redesign, including a Duramax Diesel engine, Allison transmission, raised body and redesigned brush guard, which garnered it the designation of “Alpha”. The H1 Alpha Open Top is dropping into the Eliminator mode, so keep an eye on your rearview mirror.

2018 Lamborghini Huracán Performante

The #1 most requested car in the Forza forums is finally here. The track version of the Huracan, the Performante has a reworked suspension, recalibrated steering, and a reported 750% more downforce than its road counterpart. When it broke the production car record at the Nürburgring, Lamborghini attributed the feat to its advanced aerodynamics system, which adjusts microflaps on the Huracan to decrease drag when needed, and increase downforce when needed. All we know is that a time of 6:52 on the Nordschliefe bears mentioning any chance you get.

Well, until Porsche comes along.

1964 Porsche 356 C Cabriolet Emory Special

The custom restoration work for which Emory Motorsports is known is unparalleled, and that’s nowhere clearer than in their Porsche 356C Outlaw. Every Outlaw that is produced by Emory is custom in its components and styling, but they all breathe fire through the proprietary Emory-Rothsport Outlaw-4 engine, plus a 911 suspension system. All of that layered on to what is already a vintage car lover’s dream in the 356 C makes this the ultimate package.

1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex

This extremely lightweight RWD sports car is a cult icon; perfectly balanced and highly

moddable, the Trueno’s role in the popular Initial D anime and manga introduced a generation to

Japanese motorsport culture. Toyota’s final rear-wheel Corolla before moving to a fully FWD system,

the Trueno (aka the AE86) overperformed in every kind of racing there was, from rally to touring to,

most of all, drifting. When the Trueno appeared in Keiichi Tsuchiya’s ”Pluspy” video, it cemented its legacy in the drifting world.

2019 Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro

fe2da8b4-e74d-46d6-aadc-ab0ce013e500.jpg

They call it Aston Martin’s wildest car ever. The pride of British supercars, indeed the first one, the Vulcan was first revealed in 2015 with an initial run of only 24 cars, but you can get your hands on the wheel of the latest model thanks to the Series 19 update.

The AMR Pro track package brings all of Aston Martin’s racing advances to bear in a sleek package, on a car that didn’t even see on-track competition until 2018, at the third Le Mans Racing Festival. The package includes an enhanced rear wing, large dive planes, arch louvres and turning vanes, which increase steering, downforce, and balance.

2010 Lexus LFA

4dcb8898-759f-4a41-8757-ddac638a3736.jpg

A supercar from Lexus is a rare thing. The LFA was a Halo Car, meant to change the way Lexus made cars, with principles developed for the LFA trickling down to every other car that Lexus produced. The LFA itself didn’t stick around for long, but its influence is still felt in every Lexus built.

The car packs a 4.8L V10 that hit 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, a top speed of 202 mph, and boasts an incredibly unique driving experience. Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda believed that the ultimate Lexus should connect with its owner. That’s why the LFA came into being. The car is an aerodynamic miracle, as fun to feel as it is to drive.

You can get this car by completing 50% of the Summer Festival Playlist (Not obtainable before 02/13/20 14:30UTC)

1984 Rover SD1

6d008279-77b2-45ef-9363-6f6b3f4b1518.jpg

When the Specialist Division 1, or Rover 3500, was first designed by British Leyland as a successor to the P6, the key was simplicity. That meant a live rear axle instead of De Dion-type rear suspension and a redesigned Rover V8 which emphasized torque over horsepower, rather than the newer 2.2L four cylinder. It’s been called the best-designed British car ever, taking cues from the likes of Ferrari and Maserati, but was often plagued with production issues early in its run. As a result, by 1984, the SD1 had seen some cosmetic and mechanical changes, as well as an expansion to a four cylinder model.

1994 Ford Supervan3

9a179805-67e0-40a3-b8d7-898f311cd720.jpg

First built in the 1970’s as promotional vehicles, the Supervan combined Ford Transit vans with sports car underpinnings, for some reason. It made its first appearance at Brands Hatch, before experiencing two more iterations between 1971 and 1994. That was the year that the Supervan 3 made its debut, sporting the V8 that would eventually be used in the Benetton F1 car.

In a Transit van.

2019 Lego Bugatti Chiron

4e6edf6f-b41d-40b7-bca6-f742bb9691ec.jpg

If you already own the LEGO Speed Champions expansion pack, with the Series 19 update you’ll see a new event in the northeast corner for the Forza Horizon map, provided you’ve unlocked the Master Builder’s House. Complete this event to unlock the LEGO Bugatti Chiron 2019.

If you do not already own the LEGO DLC, you really should. You can still try out the new car for free, however, by checking out the Series 19 Rivals Event. That’s in addition to a new Season Championship featuring an all-LEGO lineup. Give it a shot!
