Forza Horizon 4 | Series 20 Update

Series 20 has arrived and it’s bringing the heat with a contemporary hyper-GT car, a vintage one-of-a-kind rocket, and a bar-raising film favorite. Get all the details below!

McLaren Speedtail

b2fddfeb-4516-45d2-b495-374494d5f42f.jpg

The name “Speedtail” should be taken seriously with this beauty. McLaren’s fastest car ever built is designed to be all slipstream, with aerodynamics playing into every feature, from the custom wheel covers to the single-piece rear chassis. What better way to take advantage of its 1000+ horsepower hybrid engine and reported 402 mph top speed?

This speed demon is available as a reward car for completing 50% of the Summer Seasonal Playlist. (Available between March 12 and March 19)

Napier Railton

09ae868e-0e34-49db-9faf-31a71917411d.jpg

In 1933, Reid Railton strapped a plane engine to the most rudimentary chassis he could, and the Napier-Railton was born.

This missile on wheels broke all kinds of records in the few years after that, most notably the all-time lap record at the Brooklands oval in England, which it held until the oval was repurposed for military use at the onset of World War II.

The Napier-Railton gets its name from its creator, Reid Railton, as well as its engine, a 24-liter W12 Napier airplane engine, the most powerful engine available at the time it was built. It’s a truly one-of-its-kind vehicle.

This unique wonder is obtainable by competing the Autumn Seasonal Championship “Cult Courier” (Available between March 19th and March 26th)

Toyota 2000GT

A halo car is designed to raise the bar of what an automaker can create, with the intention of allowing those designs to influence everything else the company builds. That’s the case with the 2000GT, which represented the first collaboration between Toyota and Yamaha. It served as a coming-out party for Japanese car manufacturers when it debuted in 1965, demonstrating that they could compete with their European counterparts in style and performance and raising Toyota’s profile above its relatively vanilla production history up to that point.

Inspired by Jaguar and originally intended for Nissan, the Toyota 2000GT is now the most expensive and collectible Japanese-designed car in the world. It was famously driven by Aki in the 1967 Bond film You Only Die Twice, with custom modifications designed to accommodate Sean Connery’s large frame.

Complete 50% of the Winter Seasonal Playlist to unlock this car. (Available between March 26th and April 2nd)

Those are the new cars available as rewards for this month. Below you’ll find all of the new features and story missions coming with the Series 20 update, courtesy of our support site.

Forza Horizon 4 | Series 21 Update

The Series 21 update has arrived with a host of new reward cars, the return of Horizon Promo, remixes, bug fixes and more. Take a deep dive now on everything this series has to offer, then head for the Festival and get racing!

2013 Formula Drift Corvette 777
2ff6702a-2ca8-4f6d-989f-b82fca43e57f.jpg

In 2018, Formula Drift driver, Matt Field of Drift Cave, replaced his Nissan 240SX (also featured in Forza Horizon 4) with the surprising choice of a 2013 C6 Corvette; specifically, one recovered from flood damage in Georgia.

He documented the entire build process to get the car ready for the 2018 Formula Drift season. featured in-game sports a 7.0L, 1050bhp engine with added Nitrous and a carbon fiber body for maximum performance.

You can drift around the Festival in this custom wonder by completing 50% of the Summer Festival Playlist.

2018 Formula Drift #117 599 GTB Fiorano

Another car built and rebuilt for drifting competition, the infamous 599-based drift machine sports a V12 900+ hp engine with twin turbochargers and widebody kit, emphasis on the WIDE. The base car is already a beast, but the kit it has been outfitted with for drift competition just adds on to its dimensions. This 599 made its debut in the 2018 Formula Drift season, driven by Federico Sceriffo who nicknamed it “Fiorella”.

You can get this car as a reward for completing the Spring Seasonal Championship “Ferrari Rocher”

1992 Toyota Supra Mark 3

The Toyotas keep on rolling back into Forza Horizon 4. This latest addition is the first Supra to sport the name independently of its Celica roots. The Mk. 3 makes a great drift car and features some spiffy pop-up headlights, but upon its release it was never made available outside of Japan, making it a rare addition to the Festival lineup.

For the first time outside of Japan, get this car as a reward for Autumn Seasonal Championship “Overnight Parts”.

2018 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S
8aa6148e-e2df-4b9f-91e2-def28284b57a.jpg

The AMG models before this one were not known for being terribly driver-friendly. That’s why the 2018 E63 model, a successor to the previous 6.3L engine version, is such an exception. Its automatic four-wheel drive was intended to make it the most accessible version of this line to date, following a lineage of rear-wheel drive manual versions. It’s not the most powerful car in its class, but the efficiency with which it uses its available power makes it an incredible performer.

Complete 50% of the Winter Festival Playlist to score this car.

Horizon Promo

Forzatographers rejoice! Horizon Promo has arrived as a Photo Mode addition for Series 21. Players will need to purchase the Sunflower Meadows house in Ambleside to unlock the new mode, then start earning rewards for taking photos all around the Festival. When driving around the Festival, look for cars with a camera icon floating above them. That means it’s time to enter Photo Mode and snap a shot. The more cars you shoot, the more money and other rewards you can earn. Included in those rewards are two very exciting exclusive reward cars. Check them out below.

2018 Ferrari Portofino
6db3ea54-6587-4480-89c7-36115f796f94.jpg

Paradoxically considered an “entry-level Ferrari”, this car toes the line between modern super car and high-end sports car, while still costing something like $250,000 to own. Named for the Italian village of Portofino, this car is packing a 3.9 Twin Turbo V8 that outputs 590 hp. It serves as a successor to the commercially-minded Ferrari California, meant to be faster, lighter and more stylish.

1995 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 by Guntherwerks
d3b64b7f-1623-42e3-827a-5bf6d5ff4fbe.jpg

Before building the this custom car, Guntherwerks was known primarily as a manufacturer of after-market wheels and other parts for luxury vehicles. This rebuilt Porsche 911 Carerra 2, also known as the 400R, represents their first custom car build. 25 of these performance vehicles were built, making them incredibly rare.

Guntherwerks imagined what a GT3 RS version of the 993 could look like when they designed the 400R. The goal in the Rothsport-built engine and lightweight body were performance above all, which is unusual in the world of custom luxury cars, which normally emphasize comfort over speed.

Forza Horizon 4 | Series 22 Update

The Series 22 storms in with a host of iconic cars originating from the late 80’s and 90’s rally scene. We’re talking Group A and Group B, turbocharged rally machines. Take a look!

1990 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R
45ea81b0-eef9-4a9e-9cc5-f5bed31f03d9.jpg

The GTI-R version of the Pulsar was homologated specifically to give Nissan an edge over the dominant rally cars of the Group A era, specifically from Toyota and Ford. Its rally career was relatively short, but it remains dominant against similar cars of the time. It shares its engine with the Nissan Silvia, a 227 hp turbocharged 2.0L inline four engine, which gives it a 0-60 time of about five seconds.

1999 Ford Racing Puma

f4879315-812a-4b7d-ae17-411126c938e9.jpg

Only 500 of a planned 1,000 Racing Pumas were ever built, and only in the UK. The rarity of the Racing Puma, initially introduced as the Puma RS, makes it a valuable find. This was the final Limited Edition of the Puma produced and it features an advanced 4-piston motorsport braking system, a beefed-up body with lightweight aluminum components, and a racing-inspired interior.

Complete Seasonal Championship “Cool Cats”

1990 Toyota Celica ST185

The car that kicked off Toyota’s reign in the Group A world, the ST185 would ultimately win 16 World Rallycross series. This was the first Celica to come out after the split from Supra, which resulted in a more purely rally car versus the sportier Supra. The Celica hits the sweet spot between the straight lines and hard edges of 80’s era cars and the curvier 90’s style.

Complete 50% of the Winter Playlist

1994 Toyota Celica ST205

The 205 was an evolution of the previous car on this list, moving its style fully into the 1990’s and embracing the modern aerodynamic curves of the era. This car is famous for many things, not the least of which was the iconic Castrol livery it sported in competition and for being the cover car for SEGA Rally Championship 1995.

The most powerful version of the Celica at the time, the homologated special that was necessary for WRC contention sported a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 engine producing 252 horsepower with all wheel drive and “Super-Strut Suspension.”

Complete Seasonal Championship “What’s the Word on the Street”

1991 Peugeot 205 Rallye
f52d4912-5866-4fd2-a373-b018cb3a757e.jpg

A result of Peugeot’s desire to homologate the 205 to compete in rally, the 205 Rallye sports a 100hp engine that is compensated in power by an incredibly lightweight body, especially in the cheaper performance version. The interior was stripped of anything that wasn’t strapped down, and even some things that were, in order to maximize performance.

Complete Seasonal Championship “Stardew Rallye”

1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESi-R
b78ff7c7-d9f2-415e-9675-b03f4db2d1f6.jpg

There’s some speculation around the origins of the name Starion. Is it a reference to the constellation Orion? Is it a swipe at the Ford Mustang (Starion = Stallion)? Hard to say!

The Starion was an association project with Chrysler, who put out the similarly built Conquest in North America. The ESi-R version first built in 1986, which featured a widebody kit, was intended for rally competition, specifically the short-lived Group B.

Complete Seasonal Championship “Mud is Thicker Than Water”

Forza Horizon 4 | Series 23 Update

d715d65c-35cb-4267-b34f-a51748f7f69d.jpg

We know we are late to the festival this month, however, the new cars have finally arrived! Check out all the details for Series 23 below.

1973 Toyota Corolla SR5

In 1970, Toyota’s second generation of Corollas arrived and by 1973 that included the SR5 coupe model, which was only made in ’73 and ‘74. Sold in Japan as the Corolla Levin, the SR5 was intended to expand Toyota’s reach into new markets, which explains its unusual-at-the-time design: metal fender flares, unique front struts and springs, and a thicker front sway bar. It sported a 1.6L four-cylinder engine with five-speed transmission.

Complete the Seasonal Championship “The Corolla Express” to unlock.

1974 Toyota Celica GT

The Celica GT was a JDM legend that did much to pioneer the international market for Japanese imports. It was a direct descendant and much more accessible version of the 2000GT and at the time was comparable to the Mustang, which had been reduced in size significantly in recent years. That being said, the Celica only weighed about 2,200lbs, while the Mustang quickly moved on to bigger and heavier engines. The Celica housed a 2.0L four-cylinder that put out 90 hp (versus the Mustang’s 105 hp).

Complete 50% of the Spring Playlist to unlock.

1989 Toyota MR2 SC

Dubbed a “budget exotic car”, the Mister Two was Toyota’s mid-engine entry in the late 80’s. It featured the familiar 4A-GE engine found in the AE86; a 16-valve, twin-cam 1.6-liter inline-four and in 1989, a supercharger that bumped it up to 145 hp and shaved a second off of it’s 0-60 time. That supercharger required certain aspects of the MR2, such as the springs and wheels, to be reinforced, plus the addition of raised vents on the engine cover.

Complete 50% of the Winter Playlist to unlock.

1995 Toyota MR2 GT

In 1991, the MR2 received a full redesign that made it sportier and more Ferrari-like in appearance. By ‘95, due to rising prices and insurance premiums, it was ending its production run, making this model especially prized by collectors. The GT featured a 2.0 L 200 hp five-speed engine mounted behind the seats that put it on equal footing with cars like the Ferrari 348. The MR2 name would make its return when Toyota attached it to the Spyder convertible.

Complete the Seasonal Championship “Track Toyotas” to unlock.

Forza Horizon 4 | Series 24 Update

Welcome to Series 24! Some pretty spectacular new reward cars are coming this month, plus an exciting new feature! Get all the details right here.

Below you’ll find this month’s Torben Tuesday clues and their meanings. How many of these did you guess correctly?

1. Zenvo TSR-S 2019 - Can you wing it in Zealand? No not that one.
(Zenvo's HQ is in the Danish island of Zealand)

2. Ford #5 Escort Mk2 1977 - Groups of 5 must be escorted when listening to Talking Heads
(Talking head's debut album was "77" and released in 1977 for the car's year)

3. Ford GT70 1970 - Only 6 of Ercole's best?!
(Ercole Spada was the designer of this car and only 6 were made)

4. Mazda RX7 1985 - 53S2701923809342
(Mazda’s Hiroshima HQ is located at these UTM coordinates)

2019 Zenvo TSR-S
7231def9-0f90-40f1-b2a2-cd6b7457c71a.jpg

The Zenvo TSR-S is a superlative hypercar in every sense. 1177 horsepower out of a twin-supercharged V8, Zenvo claims 0-124mph in 6.8 secs. The TSR-S’s power is matched by its handling, which is aided by a unique hydraulic rear wing that doesn’t do what wings are supposed to do. In fact, at a 2019 test at Spa, the car was black flagged because track officials thought it was malfunctioning! The wing tilts left and right to better distribute pressure and increase downforce on curves. It’s counterintuitive and a little hard to explain, so we’ll let Zenvo founder Troels Vollertsen spell it out:

“I’d been thinking that maybe we could alter the downforce so we could put more pressure back across to the unloaded inside wheel while cornering, so you not only get downforce, but also create an effect like an anti-roll bar.” (via Top Gear)

The second S denotes a street-legal cross between Zenvo’s track-only TSR, which had a fixed wing, and the TS1 GT road car.

Zenvo is only building five of these cars every year, but you can get it by completing the first Photo Challenge.

1970 Ford GT70
185d766a-cc68-4d93-877a-2808b8be7b0d.jpg

You know the story of the GT40, the Le Mans winner and recent movie star, but have you heard of the prototype GT70? Maybe not if you’re from outside the UK.

The idea was for Ford of Europe to replicate the success the GT40 program had on the track, but on the rally stage, following a string of wins for the Escort throughout the 1960s. The problem, and why the car might be so little-known, was that to qualify for rally competition according to FIA regulations, a car had to have a minimum production run of 500 homologated cars. The GT70 had six. It fell victim to circumstance; the WRC rules changed, production costs climbed, and the Escort continued to improve performance, making the GT70 an expensive “what if?”

The GT70 never saw any real rally competition, but you can change that by completing the Seasonal Championship “Up Your Street”.

1977 Ford #5 Escort RS1800 Mk II
9c401f78-09c9-4a85-9ba7-c5ddca94119b.jpg

The #5 Ford Escort is perhaps the most iconic rally car of all time; built to Group 4 spec, it won the first WRC world championship for drivers in 1979, while being driven by Swedish rally driver Björn Waldegård, aka Walle, sporting the iconic British Airways livery.

Between 1977 and 1979, driving the #5 Escort, Waldegård would win WRC races in Kenya, Wales, Sweden, Greece, and Canada; some of the most punishing rally races in the world.

To this day, Waldegård still holds the record for the oldest driver to win a World Rally Championship event, and holds 16 total WRC wins to his name.

Add to the #5 Escort’s victories by completing 50% of the Winter Playlist.

1985 Mazda RX-7
748dcbe6-ed76-4487-9821-a510be9d6a80.jpg

Mazda and the rotary engine – a synonymous pairing best represented by the Mazda RX-7; the loud, high-revving rotary, paired with the lightweight, perfectly balanced, incredibly aerodynamic body. The already powerful Mazda twin-rotor 100 hp engine saw a further evolution with the 1985 redesign that brought the RX-7 more in line with the likes of Porsche. It also bumped the power of that rotary design up to 146 hp and added a turbocharger.

Complete the Midnight Mazdaness Seasonal Championship to grab this rotary icon.

Forza Horizon 4 | Series 25 Update

You don’t often see Australian cars on British roads, so we decided to have a bit of fun bringing Australian cars featured in Forza Horizon 3 to Forza Horizon 4 festival.

That’s why this month we’re paying homage to Forza Horizon 3’s Australia with a handful of tribute Showcase Remixes and three signature Holdens . Get all the details below!

First off, get the rundown on this month’s Torben Tuesday riddles, first featured on the Forza Horizon Twitter:
  • Holden VL Commodore Group A SV '88 - "High rank at sea, holds a group for jungle kings" (Commodore naval rank, Group A, king of the jungle refers to the Holden lion badge)
  • HSV GTSR '96 - "85 in 96? Hella yellah" (only 85 of these were made and it's a '96. "Yellah" is the official paint name for this car)
  • 2011 HSV GTS – “A racing lion with snarling nostrils” (Lion for Holden again, snarling nostrils refers to the air intakes)
Now let’s go deep on this month’s cars:

1996 Holden HSV GTSR
e8ef878e-b90e-41ad-92a0-d60402a37ea2.jpg

dentifiable by its signature paint color, “Yellah”, aka the most Australian name ever, only 85 of these cars were ever built. That’s especially interesting given the homologation standard for race cars no longer held true when the HSV GTSR was released in 1996. Presumably, Holden wanted to build a limited production run of this car for the public to enjoy and most of those models stayed in Australia yet a handful made it to New Zealand and one even landed in the UK!

The good news for owners of one of those 85 cars is that the production model was effectively identical to the track version, with a rare, early showing for carbon fiber in the body, and an Aussie-built V8 engine.

Complete 50% of the Spring Playlist to unlock an iconic Australian race car.

1988 Holden VL Commodore Group A SV
776cbf69-cc55-4832-a293-a24a02ef35e1.jpg

The “Plastic Pig”, the ”Batmobile”, the “Walky”, however you know it, the Commodore is a distinctive and iconic Group A machine. The first car produced by Holden Special Vehicles (HSV), the Commodore did fall under homologation requirements for Group A, which meant that a total of 500 models were built (eventually expanded by 250 due to its popularity).

It was built to go up against the Mercedes AMGs and BMW M3s of the world, and made a name for itself with more than a few wins, sporting the Walkinshaw-designed body kit that gave rise to most of its nicknames.

Complete the Seasonal Championship “Holden Your Horses” to receive this car.

2011 HSV GTS
80ab5e3c-6ee3-4cb7-acc1-167fddf8aa30.jpg

The previous two cars on this list were built to race spec and designed with the express purpose of being the fastest thing on the track--and yet, the GTS has them beat as a production car!

The E Series sports a 6.2L V8 Engine that outputs 436 horsepower. Outside of Australia, you might know it better as the Vauxhall VXR8which is how it was released in the UK.

Complete the Seasonal Championship “Down Under” to receive this car.

If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance that the new Welcome Pack is not for you. It features a handful of cars meant specifically for newcomers to Forza Horizon 4, to get them started in the game.

Forza Horizon 4 | Series 26 Update

Some British favorite cars hit the road in this month’s Forza Horizon 4 Series Update, two new car packs arrive with cars that were previously only available to Car Pass owners - British Sports Car Pack and Any Terrain Car Pack - plus some requested updates and fixes, and more! Check out the full details below. First up, did you get this month’s Torben Tuesday clues?

The team is hard at work finishing up Series 26. Nothing else to report except for these weird notes... what is this, band names?!

re:Naval Veg Error

Noble! but retry?

A pug, a jar, Ice!

They’re all anagrams!

re:Naval Veg Error = Land Rover Velar

Noble! but retry? = Bentley Type R

A pug, a jar, Ice! = Jaguar I-Pace

Make sure to follow us on Twitter to catch the next Torben Tuesday and figure out the clues ahead of the Series Update 27 livestream.

Now let’s break down this month’s cars.

Jaguar I-PACE
36b27ade-5cc9-4ed5-9cc7-cb01cc8259ec.jpg

The I-Pace represents a huge move for Jaguar – their first all-electric SUV, and it’s an impressive first go-round.

The AWD I-Pace goes 0-60 in less than 5 seconds on a 90kW battery that will get just under 300 miles per charge, with a top speed of 124 mph.

After the I-Pace was released, its track-only counterpart, the I-Pace Trophy was released and through the course of pushing the battery of the Trophy to its limits, Jaguar actually found ways of updating and upgrading the battery of the I-Pace to maximize performance.

Grab Jaguar’s EV I-Pace by complete 50% of the Autumn Playlist. It’s also available as the monthly Rivals car.

Land Rover Velar
13787252-cea6-4571-b447-3ae341062280.jpg

The name “Velar” comes from the Italian velare, which means “veiled” or “hidden”. It was a name that Land Rover engineers used for a decoy company back in the 1960s to conceal pre-production registration of Range Rovers.

As a nod to that history, the fourth model in the Range Rover line was called the Velar. It represents a more middle-of-the-road version, somewhere between the Evoque and the Sport.

The design of this car, which Land Rover refers to as “reductionist”, was intended to emphasize sportiness, and was actually influenced by its Jaguar brother, the I-Pace! It has a more subtle, curved profile and a lower seating position for the driver, in order to improve performance.

Grab this “hidden” SUV by completing the Seasonal Championship “Tiding Rover” in the Winter Playlist.

1992 Bentley Turbo R
123b8f59-c3ba-42db-8385-db08d960a701.jpg

There might not be a car company that marries power and luxury better than Bentley. Quilted leather, a turbocharged V8, multiple grains of fine wood trim and 0-60 in about six seconds: every Turbo R was hand-built, and for 30 years it was considered the ultimate Bentley.

Descended from the Mulsanne and similar in construction to the Brookland model, the Turbo R boasted more speed and control thanks to its reworked suspension (fun fact: the R stands for “Roadholding.”) In classic Bentley style, this is a huge car, but its 6.75L engine more than compensated for the extra weight.

When it was released, this car would have run you about $200,000, but thankfully in Forza Horizon 4, you just need to complete the Seasonal Championship “The Sun Never Sets” in the Summer Playlist.

This month we’re releasing the British Sports Car Pack and the Any Terrain Car Pack, both featuring cars that were previously only available with Car Pass. If you don’t have the Car Pass, don’t miss your chance to finally pick up these cars!

Forza Horizon 4 | Series 27 Update

There’s so much to celebrate this month at the Festival. We hit the 2-year anniversary of Forza Horizon 4, we’re celebrating Forza Horizon 3 before it reaches End of Life, we have exciting new cars and features coming, and more.

Before diving in below, be sure to check out the latest Forza Monthly for details on everything we cover here and so much more!

First off, did you discover this month’s Torben Tuesday clues? They consisted of a series of share codes for different UGC features that hinted at our new cars.

With the team hard at work on Series 27, we're left with yet more, strange numbers. Being straight with you - no idea what they mean?!

· 104855485 - Route Blueprint race with the route spelling out "Lexus RCF" on the map
· 104798896 - Photo of a Transit van with a Lexus logo on the side and the license plate "IS F"
· 517942019 - Livery vinyl featuring “GT86”
· 306382240 – A tune for the 370z with the name of this car in the description
Now let’s jump into everything Series 27 has in store.

Chris Forsberg’s Formula Drift #64 Nissan 370Z
158bb9d2-a6dc-427e-81e5-6df59e1c22e4.jpg

Three championship titles, the most podium finishes in FD, 1000+ horsepower; Chris Forsberg’s drift monster 370Z has it all. Powered by a twin turbo V6 and stripped down in order to drift its way around any corner at any speed, the #64 370Z has been Forsberg’s Nissan of choice now for several seasons, making it the oldest car in Formula Drift.

Check out our interview with Chris and garage tour in this month’s Forza Monthly.

The Forsberg 370Z has been a long time coming to Forza Horizon 4 and is now available after completing the “Nissan Cup” Championship.

2009 Lexus IS F
Whether it’s the 5-liter V8, the quad tip exhaust, or the smooth handling, there’s a lot to love about the ISF. It’s not the easiest car to get a hold of in the real world, with a limited 5-year production run, especially compared to main competitors like the smaller-engine BMW M3, but here in Forza Horizon 4, no such production limitations exist.

Complete 50% of the Spring Playlist, and the IS F is yours.

Lexus RCF
The design principles that Lexus learned and built into its halo car, the LFA would go on to inform how they built every car going forward, and a major beneficiary of those learnings was the RC F, which was the second fastest car Lexus produced at the time it was released.

The successor to the ISF, the RC F sports a naturally aspirated 5L V8 engine outputting 470bhp, the most powerful Lexus V8 there is, a retractable rear wing, and a unique design history. It’s a mash-up, featuring the front section of the GS, the middle section of the IS C, and the rear of the IS.

You can become the proud owner of the RC F by completed the “Fully Loaded” Seasonal Championship

Toyota GT86
The first collaboration between Subaru and Toyota resulted in a successor to the legendary AE86 aimed at one ultimate goal: be fun to drive. It featured an adapted Subaru Boxer engine that could be placed low within the frame of the car, which would improve handling by keeping the center of gravity low. The shared designs between the two car makers meant that both companies got to put their badge on different versions; Subaru called it the BRZ, Toyota called it the GT86, and Scion got a version as well called the FR-S, as a means of introducing it to the US market.

The GT86 and BRZ were nearly identical, except for some notable changes like the suspension systems, the front end bumper and slight tweaks to performance as the two cars diverged in purpose over time, with the GT86 favoring handling while the BRZ emphasized performance.

Complete the Spring Seasonal Championship “Sports Day” to unlock the GT86.

Drag Run
The Drag Run is a new feature coming to the Festival this month that will allow for seamless back-to-back drag races in PvP. Starting from any drag strip, players can drop in and out without having to join a new session for every race.

The Drag Run is split into 3-race series which offer rewards on completion. These then offer new PI restrictions which players can pick a new car to match.

A couple of new car packs featuring cars previously only available in the Car Pass are available for purchase this month. Check them out!

Forza Horizon 4 | Series 28 Update

This month’s Forza Horizon 4 Series 28 has arrived at the Festival and it’s bringing some serious truck power. Check out all the features, cars and fixes coming your way soon.

First off, did you get the Torben Tuesday clues, or should we say Forben Friday? The four clues were:

· A GIF from the movie Twister to represent the GMC Syclone.

· A GIF of a Eurofighter Typhoon to represent the GMC Typhoon.

· A GIF of a “clever girl” to represent the Hennessey Velociraptor.

· A GIF from the movie Wayne’s World to represent the Horizon Backstage.

Hennessey Velociraptor 6x6

John Hennessey was asked why he wanted to take a Ford Raptor and add two wheels, another axel, eight inches of lift, 600hp, an overhauled exhaust for the Eco-Boost twin turbo V6 of the Raptor, and wrap it all up in a package called the Velociraptor. His answer? “Because you can.”

Go figure.

Only 100 of these custom trucks are made per year, and each one can hit 0-60 in about 4.9 secs, so you’re not going to want to miss this monster.

Complete the "Into the Wilderness" Seasonal Championship to tower over everything on the road in this beast.

GMC Syclone & Typhoon

The Cyclone and Typhoon from GMC were the result of a very particular moment in automotive history known as “the early 90’s.” A high performance compact truck and SUV pair known collectively as “SYTY”, the pair was conceived by engineers at Buick who swapped the engine of a compact pickup for a 3.8L V6 and created the “ultimate specialty truck.”

The prototype’s 3.8L V6 was replaced with a 4.3L, and supplemented with Corvette parts and a Mitsubishi turbocharger that produced 280 hp. This resulted in a truck that hit 60mph from a standstill in 4.5 sec, and it was called the Syclone (distinct from the Mercury Cyclone.)

The goal of these trucks was speed, at the cost of towing capacity (none) and offroad capability (also none,) but the end result was, at the time, the fastest accelerating car in production.

The chief differences between the Syclone and Typhoon are an extra row of seats and a choice of leather interior, but either model remains a rarity. Turns out, high performance compact pickup trucks were a niche market.

The Syclone is yours for completing 50% of the seasonal playlist in Summer. The Typhoon comes after 50% in Winter.

Potential Hang Type Activation Fix

We have been aware of an issue players have been experiencing that would prevent the game from starting properly, and have been hard at work on a fix. Series 28 does include a potential solution that we hope will result in a dramatic reduction in the number of Hang Type Activation and similar errors.

If you continue to experience this error after you have downloaded the update for Series 28, please submit a ticket on the support site so that we can investigate further.

For the full details on Series 28, be sure to check out the Release Notes on our support site.
