Hum, se for mesmo... o sentido seria funcionar, vou testar em jogos que funciona. Mas quais os jogos que funcionam e que não são pesados ? Acho que a parte que mais pega é exatamente essa. De nada adianta funcionar se a placa não aguentar tambem.
Qual resolucao tu testaste? Criou pelo painel da nvidia?puts consegui mudar a resolução, aqui no meu monitor de 17 lcd samsung, mas puts to tão acostumado com 1280x1024 que não da =DDD, mas quem quiser mudar a resolução para uma maior eu mudei pelo driver mesmo...

Vai diminuir o desempenho sim, mas alguns dizem que melhora ate em alguns casos, porque caso tiver gargalo na CPU, ela tira a fisica do CPU e larga para a GPU![]()
Como já relataram, no XP não funciona de jeito nenhum o DV, e sem ele fica foda, tudo opaco.

Sim, estou ciente que a nvidia "abandonou" as mobile.
Mas eu não uso INF's de drivers antigos porque com novos releases, vez ou outra, eles colocam novos arquivos.
Basta adicionar essas linhas e as 8600M GT são aceitas, só verifique se nos outros modelos não tem algum arquivo diferente que não esteja no código antigo.

Esses arquivos são dos drivers antigos, se vc deinstalar o driver e reinstalar, eles desaparecerão

Não sei se é alguma combinação bizarra do hardware que estou usando, mas foi de primeira. Quem podia imaginar que um dia seria capaz de usar uma resolução acima da nativa de um monitor LCD? E o bichinho nem tomou conhecimento, prova de que é possível ele funfar tranquilamente com resoluções mais altas. :thumbs_up
