FORZA HORIZON 5 RALLY ADVENTURE AVAILABLE MARCH 29

23 February 2023- Playground Games
Kick up the dust in Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure, the second expansion coming to Forza Horizon 5 on March 29, 2023.
Are you ready for the ultimate Horizon Rally experience? Today on the Forza Horizon 5 Let’s ¡GO! livestream, our friends at Playground Games introduced the community to the second Forza Horizon 5 expansion that we’re calling Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure, coming on March 29 to Xbox consoles, PC on Windows and Steam, and Cloud Gaming (Beta).
Pack your bags, because we’re driving to an entirely new location: the rugged and biome diverse Sierra Nueva, home to the dustiest and dirtiest races we’ve ever hosted at the Horizon Festival.

Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure is included in the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-ons Bundle, the Premium Edition and Expansions Bundle. It’s also available for standalone purchase at $19.99.

KICK UP THE DUST!

Welcome to Horizon Rally! Your first choice? Pick a team. You might notice some familiar faces. Alex is leading the Horizon Raptors to break new limits in Dirt and Offroad events; Ramiro is steering the Grit Reapers to defy nature’s unpredictability in street-style Night Rally; while finally, Alejandra is guiding the Apex Predators to master the technical, high-speed Asphalt Rally.

Once the paperwork is signed, you’ll compete in eight races with your team of choice with PR Stunts along the way before taking on the leader in an epic Ambassador Race. Take the lead across all three teams to unlock a special Goliath route.
Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure features the largest number of racing events of any Horizon expansion, and these are spread across dirt, asphalt and challenging night races featuring timed point-to-point Horizon Rally stages and traditional multi-car Horizon Races. Across these events, you’ll hear navigator callouts from your co-driver, who follows the action from the Horizon Rally Helicopter, which features a dynamic night-time spotlight to improve your visibility in rally events taking place after sunset.
small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_Press_Kit_08_16x9_WM_543138a318.jpg

When in a Horizon Rally event, you will see a selection of new HUD elements which can be toggled on or off. These include a mini leaderboard showing your position relative to the other drivers who you're competing against, a notification pop-up which appears at each timed split-gate to show whether you have improved, maintained or lost positions, and new icons representing the pace notes called by the co-driver throughout the route. It will also be possible to disable the ‘Driving Line' just for Horizon Rally events, allowing for a more authentic and challenging Rally experience!

DISCOVER SIERRA NUEVA

Get ready to experience the most extreme off-road adventure ever seen in Forza Horizon.

Sierra Nueva features miles of our most exciting driving roads, full of unpredictable turns with steep inclines, blind crests and thrilling asphalt jumps, as well as rugged deformable sand roads interwoven with pre-deformed tire tracks. Massive dust trails kicked up by every car in the pack will allow rally drivers to feel the heat while listening to a punk soundtrack, courtesy of our friends at Epitaph Radio.
We know the question on your mind is “what new locations will I be able to discover in this expansion?” Sierra Nueva features a range of biomes to explore including the town of Pueblo Artza, a huge Abandoned Quarry perfect for some Gymkhana action, epic deformable Sand Dunes, the tight and twisting Desert Gorge, rolling Green Hills, and an entirely smashable Palm Forest.

These will be available for all Forza Horizon 5 players, regardless of whether they own the new expansion.

2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum

small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_Ford_F_150_Lightning_Platinum_01_16x9_WM_4d4ede69b9.jpg

Who said an all-electric off-roader couldn’t be fast? Built to overcome the most extreme terrain in a smooth, agile and quiet manner, the all-wheel drive Ford F-150 Lightning is the ideal vehicle to conquer Sierra Nueva. With a 131-kWh lithium-ion battery unleashing 580 horses and 775 lb-ft of torque, this electric truck has the prowess to carry a payload weighing up to 1,656 pounds (about 751.15 kg) and even tow 8,600 pounds (about 3900.89 kg)! It also sports a unique multi-link suspension with coil springs so it can adapt to the most rugged terrain, while from standstill, it can reach 60mph in just four seconds with a top speed of 110mph. What’s more, Ford has embraced the benefits of an EV to improve on the truck’s usability, incorporating well-thought-out design features like several domestic plugs in the frunk and bed, as well as rules and vice mounts. Step into the cabin of the mighty Lightning and once you’re on the throttle, you’ll soon realize there’s nothing else quite like it!

1973 Hoonigan Volkswagen Baja Beetle Class 5/1600 'Scumbug'

small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_Hoonigan_Volkswagen_Baja_Beettle_Class5_1600_Scumbug_16x9_WM_5c05bbfeb9.jpg

Located a mere 48 hours from the Baja 1000, back in 2017, the Hoonigan crew purchased the cheapest Baja buggy they could find, a beat-up 1973 Volkswagen Beetle fittingly named the 'Scumbug' that cost them only $2,500! After a complete teardown to replace the worn out and broken parts, the car was significantly overhauled and rebuilt to follow the Baja 1000 from the chase roads. You can witness the journey of restoring this car to its former glory documented in a lighthearted series on the Hoonigan YouTube channel. With grippy tires made to take on the toughest terrain, a large flat drag racing spoiler to keep aerodynamics in check for the off-road action, upgraded fog lights for maximum visibility and a spectacular eye-catching orange gloss finish, the 'Scumbug' is undoubtedly one of Hoonigan’s most unique and respected project vehicles ever.

2001 Ford #4 Ford Focus RS

small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_Ford_4_Ford_Focus_RS_16x9_WM_9bad9e2cc1.jpg

Driven by a renowned icon of rally, the legendary Colin McRae, this Ford Focus RS is an engineering marvel. With Ford considered one of the successful competitors in the World Rally Championship since its 1978 debut, and McRae becoming the name to watch after racking up several victories and podium results, the two would join forces in 1999 and together achieve nine rally victories with 16 podium finishes, all while behind the wheel of the Focus RS. Forza Horizon 5 fans can look forward to the 2001 spec, which led to McRae securing the driver’s championship of that year. There were many Focus models built for this season; the car we sourced, F5 FMC, was suddenly retired after the devastating Rally France incident in Corsica, and it would only be restored to its former glory years later following the unfortunate passing of McRae in 2007.
Refurbished by its original team members and later purchased by DirtFish owner Steve Rimmer, this truly special rally machine features a highly customized engine based on those found in the roadgoing Focus cars, a turbocharged 2.0-liter, inline 4 cylinder, 16 valve Duratec. The numbers it achieves are astonishing; 300 horsepower, 406 lb-ft of torque, 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds and it weighs only 2,700 pounds (about 1225 kg). This Focus RS utilizes a suspension system from Reiger Rally, which remains a popular choice for rally cars even to this day, and when paired with an advanced active all-wheel drive system, it just rips, especially around the untamed spaces of Sierra Nueva. In the real world, the car resides at the DirtFish showroom, but thanks to Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure, you too can experience all the incredible capabilities of this Focus RS and share an appreciation for its everlasting heritage.

2022 Alumicraft #6165 Trick Truck

small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_Alumicraft_6165_Trick_Truck_16x9_WM_75317c1b42.jpg

If you’re a race team in the market for a new off-road truck, look no further than Alumicraft. Their engineers have built a singular truck chassis with a custom engine fine-tuned to suit the needs of the team placing the order. While power output will vary based on the spec required, this truck class can drive 525 horsepower with 24 inches of front travel and a massive 30 inches in the rear. Make no doubt, this specialized trophy truck gives the word unlimited an entirely new meaning and is the perfect choice for driving up massive clouds of dust out in the wilds of Sierra Nueva.

2021 Polaris RZR Pro XP Factory Racing Limited Edition

small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_Polaris_RZR_Pro_XP_Factory_Racing_Limited_Edition_16x9_WM_0999fa8bb0.jpg

Fully equipped to take on the legendary 5000-mile Dakar event, considered by many as the harshest, most-demanding race in the world, the RZR Pro XP is a proven success story for Polaris after winning the Baja 1000, Baja 500 and the UTV World Championships. Built using durable and performant parts like the turbocharged twin cylinder Pro Star engine, this highly adaptable buggy reaches over 80mph with a custom ECU by Motec that ensures optional performance while the rear-mounted radiator with its custom roof scoop maximizes airflow even in the most challenging conditions. Jimco Racing provided the custom homologated chassis, while the 96-inch wheelbase, custom suspension system and four-corner hydraulic disc brakes allow this RZR Pro XP to perform at its best on even the most extreme terrain.

2020 Jimco #179 Hammerhead Class 1

small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_Jimco_179_Hammerhead_Class1_16x9_WM_b1c5f9ed36.jpg

The Hammerhead. Quite possibly the best name for a vehicle, ever. It adapts the most profound features of the modern-day trophy truck into the chassis of a Class 1 racecar with increased front-wheel travel, a steering box with a higher turning radius, and improved suspension so there’s no off-road trail too challenging. In the years prior to the Hammerhead, Jimco had already dominated Class 1 racing, however in the world of motorsports – including off-road championships – there’s no opportunity to slow down, especially when the dirt, dust, sand and rocks are as fearsome as your competitors. What’s new in the Hammerhead? With a mid-engine redesign from Dougan’s Racing to adjust the vehicle’s weight for improved handling and cornering, new carbon fiber race seats, upgraded electronics and 850 horses on standby, the Hammerhead makes all the noise its name would suggest with the performance to rival all its competitors.

2019 Jimco #240 Fastball Racing Spec Trophy Truck

small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_Jimco_240_Fastball_Racing_Spec_Trophy_Truck_16x9_WM_c72ae85aa8.jpg

In 2019, Bobby Patton, owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and lover of everything off-road racing, signed a deal with Jimco to build a highly outfitted Trophy Truck inspired by his favorite baseball team. With a Score Spec LS3 Motor by Danzio Performance under the hood and a 3 Speed Turbo 400 by Gearworks, the Fastball Spec Trophy Truck attacks its terrain with ease and drives up all the dirt and dust you’d expect from such an acquainted off-road machine. With the body of a Ford Raptor, customized by Jimco, and massive 40-inch tires with 26-inches of wheel travel on the front and 32-inches on the rear, the Fastball features all the flexibility essential for taking on the deadliest of environmental conditions. All while repping an instantly recognizable “Dodger Blue” livery. Buckle up, because in Sierra Nueva, this one is guaranteed to be wild and a whole lot of fun!

2019 Casey Currie Motorsports #4402 Ultra 4 'Trophy Jeep'

small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_Casey_Currie_Motorsports_4402_Ultra4_Trophy_Jeep_16x9_WM_4c6afe8606.jpg

What happens when you toss a custom-built LS based Crate GM engine into the chassis of a buggy? Meet the Trophy Jeep, an off roader that can blast through the most rugged environments with 850 horsepower and an impressive 19 inches of spring travel, ensuring even the rockiest and most unexpecting terrain can be approached in confidence. Driven by Cody Currie in the Baja 1000, the Trophy Jeep managed to finish the dirtiest off-road event on the calendar in 19 hours and 43 minutes. With an ultra-compact and fully hydraulic IFS steering system complete with independent suspension on the front and rear axle and a fully adjustable chassis, this truly unique buggy is invited to take on its next challenge: the unpredictable rally raids of Sierra Nueva.

2021 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR Pro 4 Truck

small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_RJ_Anderson_37_Polaris_RZR_Pro4_Truck_16x9_WM_3a3b71b2e9.jpg

At first glance, these Pro Trucks may look remarkably close to Trophy Trucks, however there are several key differences that make them their own class of off-roading beast. First, they are slightly smaller and lighter, set up with a handling model that’s prime for driving steadfast and pushing through large ruts and bumps. They also have less travel and focus on droop travel to keep the wheels steady on the ground, especially over surprising drops. As for the Pro 4 class specifically, these are built for short course closed circuit racing prominently filled with jumps, bumps, woops and berms. The “4” refers to the all-wheel drive system, which makes these the fastest short course trucks. While the power output is considered unlimited, in this case we’re pushing 850 brake horsepower, which makes the AWD layout a necessity.

2021 Alumicraft #122 Class 1 Buggy

small_FH_5_Rally_Adventure_Expansion_Alumicraft_122_Class1_Buggy_16x9_WM_b269bd00d8.jpg

With an astonishing 22 inches of front travel and 23 inches in the rear, the Alumicraft #122 Class 1 Buggy is primed for the most extreme off-road adventure. Teams who order this chassis from Alumicraft can choose which engine to fit, so in Forza Horizon 5, we opted for the Chevy LS3 which produces an approximate 500 horsepower to the rear wheels. Considering this buggy weighs in at 3748 pounds (about 1700 kg), that’s more than enough performance to blast through even the tallest of sand dunes with style.

We're constantly working to improve the experience in Forza Horizon 5. Below you will find a summary of items fixed or improved upon in this update.

Version Number:
  • Xbox One: 2.567.563.0
  • Xbox Series: 3.567.563.0
  • PC: 3.567.563.0
  • Steam: 1.567.563.0

General
  • [PC] Fixed an issue where the game client could crash while in Benchmark mode
  • Improved game stability in Eliminator where sometimes players could experience crashes while being challenged in a head 2 head
  • Reduced the cost of some EventLab props after previous budget miscalculation fix
Playground Games Developer’s Note:

In the previous Forza Horizon 5 update, Horizon Wilds Takeover, we fixed a miscalculation with the EventLab props budget when entering the Blueprint Builder. This meant that existing events jumped in budget usage when compared to previous versions of the game. The purpose of this change was to ensure the stability of our game on all platforms, as we observed several instances of game crashes in highly detailed events, which was caused by limited memory capacity on some devices.

We’ve listened to your feedback and now understand that we underestimated the impact this would have on EventLab creators, especially those in the middle of creating complex events. We apologise for this.

We’ve reviewed, recalculated, and optimized our limits to bring them as close as possible to those in previous versions of the game while maintaining game stability on all platforms.

Please note after this update, there will still be a small increase in the budget usage of props when compared to earlier versions of the game, however we expect this will be much reduced and should be enough that players can edit their events to bring themselves back under budget.

We thank you for the passion you put into your amazing EventLab creations, we love seeing what you're capable of creating with our tools

After a series dedicated to Horizon Wilds, the Street Scene vibes are now officially in check! There’s no better way to celebrate the Grit Reaper’s love of late-night rally racing.

GAME FIXES & RELEASE NOTES

The latest Forza Horizon 5 update will be available to download on Xbox consoles and Windows PCs though the Microsoft Store and Steam from Tuesday, March 28 – one day before the release of Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure. To begin your expedition in Sierra Nueva, you’ll need to download both the upcoming series update and the expansion once it’s available starting at 11am PT on Wednesday, March 29. Looking ahead, the Midnights at Horizon series begins in-game on Thursday, March 30.
small_FH_5_EW_Neon_Cube_01_16x9_WM_473e83ca77.jpg

We’re closely monitoring your Forza Horizon 5 feedback as new fixes are developed and made available to the community. Here’s a look at some of the most notable improvements you can look forward to upon downloading the update:
  • We’ve fixed the black windows that appear on car thumbnails in the car selection menu. While this won’t retroactively apply to existing thumbnails, these can be regenerated yourself by modifying the car with either a new color, livery or tuning parts.
  • Fixed an issue in the Las Afueras Street Race upon resetting the car after missing a specific checkpoint.
  • Daily Wheelspins from the Hotel Castillo Player House are now consistently rewarded every day.
  • An issue that prevented players from using d-pad menus after the Convoy host disconnects while loading into a race has been fixed.
  • We’ve made improvements to alleviate the crash rate for head-to-head races in The Eliminator and Free Roam.
  • Players could generate excess accolade points offline that contributed to the Hall of Fame leaderboard by repeating timed accolade challenges. This has been fixed.
  • The number of target photos for Horizon Promo has been corrected.
  • An issue that caused cars to not rev past 3000 RPM when shifting from first gear to reverse, or from reverse to first gear, has been fixed.
  • A PC-specific issue that caused the game to crash if the display was not connected to the primary graphics card has been resolved.
You can find the full list of fixes in our release notes, which will be published once the update has been released. Click here to see a list of the issues that we’re currently investigating. You can also report any bugs that you’re encountering in Forza Horizon 5 over on our recently launched Troubleshooting Hub, an issues tracker available on the Forza Forums.

ANTI-LAG & LAUNCH CONTROL

Visit the Tuning & Upgrades menu at any Horizon Festival Outpost or Player House to fit the new anti-lag system to your favorite cars. This feature is available to all vehicles with a turbocharged engine and delivers more power while producing awesome flame effects and fire-cracker audio.
small_FH_5_Cadillac_group_02_16x9_WM_03aed767ce.jpg

If you’re unable to locate anti-lag in the engine options, double check that your car has already been fitted with a turbocharger as it will not appear otherwise.
In addition, Launch Control has been added as a new assist option that can be toggled on or off. Whether you’re using it for Horizon Rally or Drag Racing, there’s no better way to achieve that perfect start off the line.

(CONSOLE ONLY) STEERING WHEEL ROTATION SUPPORT

Players who use a wheel in Forza Horizon 5 on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One have a selection of new options to customize:
  • Steering Rotation – This sets the range of steering degrees of rotation on your wheel device but does not affect the Steering Lock.
  • Steering Lock Multiplier – This sets the angle formed by the front of the vehicle and the direction of front tires at maximum steering angle. The lower this value, the lower the angle will be.
  • Steering Speed Sensitivity – This sets the amount of Steering Lock of the car with speed. Lower value will provide a lower steering lock at high speed. By default (1.0) the steering lock does not change with speed.

(PC ONLY) NVIDIA DLSS 3 & REFLEX

PC players using NVIDIA RTX 40 Series GPUs can boost their Forza Horizon 5 framerates to new heights by enabling DLSS 3.0. This feature allows for silky smooth gameplay with over 120 FPS at 4K. Check out the benchmarks below for DLSS 3.0 performance at 4K and 1440p resolutions on RTX 40 Series GPUs.
small_forza_horizon_5_geforce_rtx_3840x2160_nvidia_dlss_desktop_gpu_performance_90e9ae64b4.png

small_forza_horizon_5_geforce_rtx_2560x1440_nvidia_dlss_desktop_gpu_performance_a5625b2ceb.png

For players looking to reduce system latency and improve overall responsiveness, NVIDIA Reflex will also be added as an option on GeForce GTX 900 and higher NVIDIA graphics cards.

TIRE PROFILE SIZE

Tire Profile Size is being introduced for the off-road vehicles listed below, which includes buggies, trucks and performance SUVs. This option can be enabled on every tire compound, allowing players to increase the height of tires to maximize the available wheel arch space. As tire height is a component in gearing, the PI of the vehicle will increase while the gearing becomes “taller.” Increasing the tire height also raises the car’s ride height, giving more ground clearance.
small_FH_5_Chevrolet_Camaro_ZL_1_1_LE_Street_Fighter_LA_Body_Kit_01_16x9_WM_b0e8a96830.jpg

All players can utilize this feature regardless of owning Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure. Some vehicles that support it are only obtainable in the expansion or were released in previous series updates or the Car Pass. Those cars have been marked with an asterisk.

EVOLVING WORLD

The nightlife is heating up at the Horizon Festival and lighting up those extended night skies throughout the series are new neon decorations and drone shows.
small_FH_5_EW_Neon_Jungle_Aerodromo_01_16x9_WM_25b2d18821.jpg

Look out for the Horizon Badlands drones in Dunas Blancas, which acts as your Fast Travel point to Sierra Nueva, as well as another set at the end of the Danger Sign in Aerodromo En La Selva forming a bullseye target. This abandoned airfield will also be covered in brightly lit neon-infused decorations, while neon barriers and structures will be seen in race events throughout the series.
Extended night-time and neon decorations will be visible in the open world for a limited time, from March 30 until April 27.

EVENTLAB RALLY & NEON PROPS

The EventLab Blueprint Builder expands with 26 new Rally props, available to all players regardless of whether they own Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure.
small_FH_5_EW_Neon_Jungle_Aerodromo_02_16x9_WM_a6d22b2a00.jpg

These structures can be found in the Rally tab and include the Horizon Rally Helicopter, as well as rally trucks, caravans, rally flags, tents, barriers, rally chasers, caravans, a metal shed, a water tank, a gantry, and a rally brick wall that features nodes for snap functionality. Creators can place these objects in all map locations including Mexico, Hot Wheels Park and Sierra Nueva.
In addition, we’re adding 5 Neon Lights and 3 Googly Eye props under the Decoration category, while the 3D Neon Horizon Cube Collectible has been added to the Gameplay tab.

FESTIVAL PLAYLIST

On the Festival Playlist, look out for the exclusive Neon Lights Tank, displaying in four Photo Challenge locations across Mexico. Plus find the hidden 3D Neon Horizon Cube Collectibles in the Autumn “Lights Out” challenge. New cosmetics include the Walkie Talkie and Foghorn Car Horns, as well as new clothing items inspired by Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure.
small_FH_5_Cadillac_group_01_16x9_WM_46dbb56462.jpg

From this series onwards, Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure players will find two exclusive events available every week on the Festival Playlist. These will include a Seasonal Championship and PR Stunt set in Sierra Nueva and are unlocked by winning the Horizon Badlands Goliath. While completion of these events contributes points to your Festival Playlist completion, they are not required to unlock new reward cars, earn “Gold” on a series or unlock the “Min, Meet Max” achievement. Furthermore, non-expansion owners will not feel increased difficulty in unlocking new series reward cars, as their points requirements remain the same as before.
Here’s a look at the #NewToForza cars entering the Forza Horizon 5 garage during the upcoming series, as well as unlock requirement for each one:

2021 RIMAC NEVERA

small_FH_5_Rimac_Nevera_03_16x9_WM_3e2f740178.jpg

Earn 20 PTS during Week 1 “Summer” Season on the Midnights at Horizon Festival Playlist. Available from Mar. 30 – Apr. 6.
Since the Rimac Concept Two first debuted in Forza Horizon 4 in 2019, the Forza community has pushed this incredible 1,914-horsepower hypercar to the limit and defined new levels of speed. Now it’s time to see how the production model propels the driving experience to the next level. Considered the fastest electric production car in the world, the Rimac Nevera – the name derived from the Croatian language word to describe the unexpected short-burst lightning storms that occur along the Adriatic Coast in summer – set a record-breaking top speed of 258mph (412kph) in November 2022.
small_FH_5_Rimac_Nevera_02_16x9_WM_8a0a47dc3e.jpg

Rimac had already simulated this impressive figure for its C-Two in 2018 while it was in active development, however it was Miro Zrncevic, Rimac’s Chief Test and Development Driver, who achieved the same unprecedented speed in the real-world four years on. While 150 units of the Nevera are destined for the production line in Zagreb, their top speed is reduced to a still impressive 219mph (352kph). Its full potential can be unlocked by Rimac for special events in controlled environments. This process involves fitting new specialized tires, an essential upgrade for safely achieving higher speeds.
small_FH_5_Rimac_Nevera_01_16x9_WM_0584a5d503.jpg

Also established as the world’s fastest accelerating production car, the Nevera with its four Rimac-designed electric motors can reach 0-60mph in just 1.85 seconds, and blast beyond 100mph in 4.3 seconds. It even features a “Drift Mode” that disables the front motors to allow the car to drift. This feature is available in Forza Horizon 5 and is accessible in the same way as race mode and convertible options on other vehicles, by pushing in the Left Stick. Now the only question that remains is what speed record Forza fans will set on the Mexican highway once they’re seated behind the wheel.

2022 CADILLAC CT5-V BLACKWING

small_FH_5_Cadillac_CT_5_V_Blackwing_01_16x9_WM_6b22e6678e.jpg

Earn 20 PTS during Week 2 “Autumn” Season on the Midnights at Horizon Festival Playlist. Available from Apr. 6 – Apr. 13.
As the larger, more extreme and even faster sibling of the Blackwing duo, the Cadillac CT5-V is the V8-powered sports sedan that automotive dreams are made of. Its high-performance numbers are simply astounding with 668-horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque. That means it’s fast, very fast actually. For top speed, the CT5-V breaks the 200mph barrier, while Car and Driver testing has penned in the 0-60mph statistic at 3.6 seconds, with the 100mph target coming in at 7.7 seconds. That’s almost two seconds faster than the CT4-V! It’s also sporting the same racing-inspired trimming as its smaller counterpart to deliver incredible downforce and ensure a smooth and nimble drive. Simply put, there’s no lifting this one off the asphalt, until it takes on the more elevated terrain of Forza Horizon 5’s landscapes of course.

2021 LEXUS LC 500

small_FH_5_Lexus_LC_500_01_16x9_WM_b7d2ea7a6a.jpg

Earn 20 PTS during Week 3 “Winter” Season on the Midnights at Horizon Festival Playlist. Available from Apr. 13 – Apr. 20. This car features an optional Liberty Walk (LB Holdings Co., Ltd) body kit.
The Lexus LC has been in production since 2017 and has iteratively evolved with each model since then. The 2021 spec trims down on the weight and improves the suspension system to ensure the car feels more connected to the road, offering a more robust and stable driving experience while retaining the luxurious looks and feel that Lexus is known for. In fact, the “LC” stands for “Luxury Coupe,” and the line itself replaced the SC, which was formerly Lexus’ luxury car of choice from 1991 until 2010. Also new for 2021 is cornering assist with braking control, so you can maximize its 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8 with confidence. Producing 471-horsepower and 398 lb-ft. of torque at its peak, the LC achieves 0-60mph in only 4.4 seconds and remains a testament to Lexus’ focus of elegance in driving.

2022 CADILLAC CT4-V BLACKWING

small_FH_5_Cadillac_CT_4_V_Blackwing_01_16x9_WM_2ba4e3a34c.jpg

Earn 20 PTS during Week 4 “Spring” Season on the Midnights at Horizon Festival Playlist. Available from Apr. 20 – Apr. 27.
The successor to the beloved Cadillac ATS-V is here. With both all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive platforms available and a 3.6-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine under the hood, the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is the next must have addition to your Forza Horizon 5 garage. Or perhaps that title belongs to the more formidable CT5-V Blackwing, which is also coming to the game. Both are excellent choices for cruising and racing around Mexico’s asphalt roads, and with a low-level spoiler and launch control on each, they’re also the perfect choice for drag racing. Power wise, the CT4-V delivers 472-horsepower with 445 lb-ft of torque, which means, according to Car and Driver testing, it can go from standstill to 60mph in 4 seconds, and to 100mph in 9.4 seconds. Cadillac estimates a top speed of 189mph. It’s a mean machine in a smaller package to the CT5-V, which makes it ideal for just about everything.

Bug fixes

General
  • Fixed an issue with the Daily Wheelspins attached to owning the Hotel Castillo Player House which would sometimes unlock inconsistently
  • Fixed an issue with cars thumbnails being generated with black headlights and windows
    • Developer's Notes: Since thumbnails are generated locally, players with those corrupted thumbnails would need to edit their car (any modification would suffice, like changing paint, or livery or tuning). This process would force the system to re-generate the thumbnail which will be shown correctly afterwards.
  • Fixed an issue with the incorrect target number of photos in the Horizon Promo, specifically for Mercedes-AMG
  • Fixed an issue with Accolades where some players were able to accumulate more accolades points than intended while being offline
  • Fixed a crash on PC which was occurring when the display was not connected to the primary graphics adapter
  • Client Security updates
  • General performance and stability fixes
Cars
  • Fixed an issue where cars were unable to rev past 3000 RPM when shifting from first to reverse gear and vice-versa
  • Fixed an issue with the 1976 Jeep CJ5 Renegade where wheels on the thumbnail were flipped around
  • Fixed an issue with inconsistent paint/vinyl options on the 2020 #20 MG6 Xpower stock wing
  • Fixed an issue with the 1958 Plymouth Fury rear view mirror which was compressing cars making them appear taller and thinner
  • Fixed an issue with the 1997 BMW M3 where corrupted textures were showing when the car was damaged
Accolades
  • Fixed an issue with "Open Empire" Accolade which didn't have a tracker in the Accolade menu
  • Fixed an issue with "Baja Bug" Accolade which was not getting completed upon meeting its requirements
EventLab
  • Corrected the UI indicator for the over-budget props when editing a blueprint
Multiplayer
  • Fixed an issue in Convoys where sometimes players couldn't use any d-pad menus after a disconnection
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes players were not able to access most game features if accessing The Eliminator via Hot Wheels Menu tab
  • Fixed an issue in "Las Afueras" Street Race upon resetting the car after missing a specific checkpoint
  • Improvements made to reduce client crashes when being challenged into a Head-to-Head in The Eliminator or in Free Roam
