I continually hear people talk about how hard it is to get xp, or that they don't want to tr because there isn't enough xp, et cetera. The purpose of this thread is simple - to show how much xp there is in DDO (and then to show a more practical interpretation ).
Firstly - how much xp is there? Depending on how you view it there is either exactly 4,378,500 or infinite xp.
Now, a more practical interpretation. With...
-no rare farming
-no super xp quest farming (Shadow Crypt, Shadow King, Gwylan's, Tangleroot, et cetera)
-only moderate xp boosts (some, but not all, ransacks, conquest, etc) ---using x1.25 modifier to represent this
-no xp pots
-no optionals (which contribute a lot more than some people realize)
All rares (once only), explorers, and slayers gives roughly 1,536,000
All quests before IQ2 update on normal and hard once each gives roughly 2,000,000
Most quests once elite (~70% of them) gives roughly 850,000
Total so far = 4,386,000
Just for S&G, if instead you were to do all elite once also, have a +20% xp pot on at all times and increase the xp booster to x1.35 (can't always get all of them as some quests don't have conquest, ransack, etc) we would be up to 6,000,000 (+1,614,000 over a TR 2+ cap).
And this still doesn't include the massive amounts of optional xp available, nor massive repetitions of the usual quests.
